missing spa massages.
0 comments Published by MIND BUBBLES in other than bubblesI really miss going to spa. My body is getting sore by the day with tons of homework and blogging tasks. All I need is a good one hour massage to soothe and keep me relax. I would want to try spas similar to spa in Buckhead which offer high-quality service, latest state of the art technology to revitalize their skin, add fullness and definition to their lips and face, remove unwanted body hair, eliminate cellulite, shape their body and dramatically reduce the signs of aging -all without any surgical intervention. I assume thought that the price is sky-rocketing but who says that this kind of service is cheap, anyway.
find couples.
0 comments Published by MIND BUBBLES in other than bubblesSometimes as couples you tend to get bored with repeated activities you do over the weekend, especially for those that do not have kids. I chanced upon this website where you could find couples and connect with other couples interested in similar activities as yours. TheCoupleSpot.com is an avenue to spend weekend activities with other couples. You can create a profile and search by activities, age, lifestyles in your specific area or location.
infomercials.
0 comments Published by MIND BUBBLES in bubbles fame, other than bubbles, shopping bubblesI'm fond of TV infomercials especially the Proactiv acne cream which featured Jessica Simpson. Every testimonial that were said by its users were so convincing. In general, infomercials are really convincing you want to purchase their products when the contact numbers and instructions on how to order are being flashed on your tube. I used to purchase from those until I stopped myself before I could get addicted to it.
what to watch out in a resto.
0 comments Published Thursday, July 17, 2008 by MIND BUBBLES in bubbly blogthings, other than bubblesOne thing that I notice about fine dining restaurants are their restaurant furniture. All of them seem to have high-quality and top of the line furnitures. I guess it is really important to have comfortable chairs and furnitures that would entice more class A clients as these furnitures create a different kind of ambience. But, these high-qualities and marketing strategies should not end in the furnitures, the food has not to be sacrificed. After all, it is the food that customers would come back for another resto visit. So how about you, what do you look for in a fine dining resto? The food, service or ambience?
neglecting my birthday list.
0 comments Published Wednesday, July 16, 2008 by MIND BUBBLES in other than bubbles, the bubble gangThat's what I am! I have been neglecting to greet my friends on their birthdays because of the many things in my hands right now. This is very unusual of me. And maybe they are also surprised or (probably annoyed) as to why I have been missing out on sending them greeting cards. I usually do it by the bulk monthly, but now, it is just so hard to cope. What more when I have 2 kids! Oh no! I guess shopping for gifts online will suffice the missed-out birthday cards.
Usually I turn to ShopWiki for complete list of gifts for my girlfriends. Also, I like the page:
ShopWiki gift guides because it gives me a complete information and tips on how to find the best gift deals in town. I guess I have to allot 1 whole day (or at least when my toddler is asleep) and shop for some affordable and easy to mail gifts. I hope they forgive me after all, it's better late than never.

Their affiliate company, Park West at Sea, conducts cruise ship art auctions around the world. Hubby is a certified art lover and he will surely love this. I wish it doesn't cost that much to watch the auctions and I hope they allow people to watch even if we are not bidding. Hmmm, let's see, I'll research on this later but for now we're off to some local art museums.
business checking account.
0 comments Published Monday, July 14, 2008 by MIND BUBBLES in office bubbles, other than bubblesThere is a big difference between getting a business checking account and a personal checking account. When this friend of mine decided to open up her own business, because she thinks that she won't be able to retire early if she keeps reporting to her day job which got her earning a very menial pay only, she does not know the big difference of business and personal accounts. She seeks the help of NorthernTrust.com to provide her with the right information before she made the big switch. Thus, was enlightened by the information given to her. You know this friend of mine always has this special relationships with her personal bankers, she makes sure to always get financial advices from professional and educated bankers only. She is the type of person who works hard now (read: up to 3 jobs and many other business rackets) so she could retire early and enjoy the fruits of her labor. I look up to her on this part although I was telling her that she should take some time for vacation and probably just a big break from her busy schedule.
low-priced internet
0 comments Published Sunday, July 13, 2008 by MIND BUBBLES in household bubbles, office bubbles, other than bubblesI chanced upon Charter internet when I was looking for an internet provider for our new townhome. They claim to have 30-day risk free trial and a $25 Shell Gift Card with online orders. The price is very affordable with a high speed internet, speeds as fast as up to 5Mbps for only 14.99/month. They do not have a contract and you can cancel the service within 30 days of trial. Above all these, there are a lot of add-on benefits that come along the internet connection. However, I was also looking for phone and t.v. cable connection that go together with our internet. So when I saw that COX offered these triple bundle, we got them but if you are looking for internet connection only, Charter is a good choice.

After a friend of mine has seen the Incredible Stylish New Frames From Zenni and my blog entry on Zenni Optical was on FOX news! She got herself that cute red Zenni Optical $ 8 Rx Eyeglasses! I think Zenni is doing really good in terms of selling glasses online. Other than coming out really cheaper compared to glasses sold on store, it is more convenient to purchase these glasses online.
zenni on the news.
0 comments Published Friday, July 11, 2008 by MIND BUBBLES in other than bubblesMy obsession with getting pairs of glasses from ZenniOptical.com for me, hubby and my siblings (and even friends, because they are so affordable and comes in varied designs) has gone to a higher level haha! I saw Zenni on Fox today! Can you believe that? Zenni being featured on the news. I guess I made a good decision. The brand must be really so good to be featured on the news.
if you think...#3

To end this week, here's my 3rd if you think... entry. I never felt inadequate of friends, I have always been blessed with loyal and beautiful friends. Although 2 of them have betrayed me and I don't know why up to now what I did to them for me to deserve what they did. I have learned to move on and forget about them, also forgave them for what they did. After all these years, more true friends came to my life.
However, for the past days, I am quite bothered with a friend. Everything in her life seems to be in shambles. Her once very sexy body looks like a body of a 40 year-old with 6 kids and she hasn't given birth yet. She is evern contemplating on taking Phentermine for desperate measures. Also, her finances are falling down and worst she doesn't have a job. For once, I don't have answers to a very confused friend, I always have the right words for a friend confiding in me, but this particular friend, her life must be too complicated that I cannot comprehend. Thus, I am not helping her. I guess for now, all I must do is pray for her and continue listening to her woes and rants. God Bless Her.
(my entry is so blah, I am extremely bothered with her current state.)
mark my word.

Okay, so the Wii that we have been waiting for more than half a year now, never came. I mean I don't want to put pressure on anyone here but if you promised, keep it and don't even pretend you were having problems sending them. Yadda yadda yadda! Kid me huh?! Now, I truly know you tsk tsk. Lest, promises made to a toddler is a crime for me. You are not his dad, you don't have one word. Now, my goal for my birthday (which is 2 months away from now, oh no!) is to give myself and my son a reward for all our waiting for that controversial Wii! haha! I am getting one in September and I have told Hubby many times. My son loves Nintendo Wii when we tried it during our vacation in California last year. Eversince, he was begging me to get him one. Instead, Hubby bought him an Xbox 360 which he bought from ShopWiki. We didn't like it or shall I say, 360 is way way too advance for my son and way way too difficult for me to comprehend.
As early as now I am shopping for Nintendo Wii at ShopWiki and checking out the best deals. I actually saw one seller with the cheapest price and guess what?! Shipping is free! I just hope that by September, the price is still the same. Until then, we will have to settle with what we have here, Xbox 360 that is!
decided.

The math problems were really really hard and if hubby wasn't here, I don't think I'd be able to complete my 1st homework. As a price, hubby told me that he will get me one of those pretty glasses from zennioptical.com. I have decided on this red with tiny flower details instead of the pink one, what do you think?
women's health
0 comments Published by MIND BUBBLES in other than bubblesTaking Control: Future Therapies for a Host of Serious Diseases May Be Found in
Women's Menstrual Blood
July 07, 2008: 01:28 PM EST
OLDSMAR,
Fla., July 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- With today’s hectic lifestyle, where most women are juggling careers, family, relationships, and a host of activities, the idea of possibly facing a serious illness in the future is not something that readily comes to mind -- especially when a woman is in the prime of her life. But what most women don’t know, is that the key to treating a number of possibly life-threatening diseases that she, a parent, a sibling or even her children may face in later years, such as osteoporosis, heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, may be found within her own body -- in vital stem cells, which can now be harvested from her own menstrual blood.
Now, thanks to the revolutionary research and technology of C’elle, a service dedicated to providing women with a safe and easy method of collecting and preserving stem cells found in her menstrual fluid each month, even the busiest
woman can take control of her future, right in the privacy of her own home. With
C’elle’s non-invasive collection process, menstrual cells are processed and cryo-preserved (stored at a very low temperature) for potential cellular therapies that may be used in the future. These self-renewing cells one day may even be used for sports medicine or cosmeceutical treatments, such as anti-aging therapies.
"C’elle enables and empowers a woman to take control of her future health, and possibly of those genetically closest to her, in a fast, painless and stress free way," said Michelle Kay, Marketing and Sales Manager for C’elle. "We live in exciting times, as science and technology are discovering how extremely valuable menstrual blood stem cells really are, and the enormous treatment potential they represent for future therapies. C’elle’s ongoing research is supporting these promising findings."
For more
information about C’elle, please call 1-877-892-3553 or visit www.celle.com.
I watched this 1st at CNNMoney and thought I'd share to get your insights on it. I don't know the authenticity of the product but nevertheless, read it if you have time. Share it with other women in your lives. I always believe that women are far far better than men (oh yea, I am a feminist), but seriously, when I became a mother, I realized that women has so much potential and more. That is why we are the most targetted with serious diseases such osteoporosis, heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. We have so many roles in our lives that we tend to juggle and well, I can say we manage our time very well. All these things plus maintaining grace and beauty.
This press release simply informs women that c'elle is a service that can help women determin future diseases in the vital stem cells, which can now be harvested from her own menstrual blood. It's quite interesting idea to have discovered that through their wide research and technology. Like I said, I do not know the authenticity of this product and if anyone of you have encountered someone who tried this or yet if you tried it based on 1st-hand experience, I want to hear your thoughts. Though, there are a lot of positive client testimonials in their site.

Since we moved, it is only now that we realize there are still some things we need to buy especially in the kitchen and dining area of our townhome. Hubby was quick enough to tell me to surf on them and canvass the prices at ShopWiki especially since kitchen tools prices nowadays can get so high.
You see, we did make a checklist before moving in and the 1st thing hubby made sure to complete was cooking needs. But I guess our checklist wasn't complete after all. You will only realize you have something missing when you are on it, cooking that is. So, since I do most of the cooking, I made out this long list for ShopWiki shopping! I hope I find good deals though. We are on a very limited budget. Moving can be so expensive you know.
Blowfish Shoes blew my Mind.
0 comments Published by MIND BUBBLES in other than bubbles, shopping bubblesWhat I look for in a shoe is not the brand, more of the comfort and durability it gives. When I became a mom, I have learned to love flats and sneakers. I was happy to know that Blowfish Shoes provide flats that are still very fashionable and in plenty of colors and designs. Surprisingly, the prices are very affordable considering that their designers are designers from Esprit, Rocket Dog, Sam&Libby, Aerosoles and David Aaron. Aside from their online shop, they offer their shoes in plenty of stores such as Macy's.
I was surfing on some flats and sandals while my son was taking his nap and found a lot of to die for Blowfish Women's Shoes and Blowfish Designer Shoes!!! Oh my oh my, I was diverted at shopping boots instead. Their boots are definitely in my must-have list for winter! Their designs vary from spunky, classic and feminine.
To all shoeholics out there, the site is worth your time, feet and money. I can't wait to own my 1st Blowfish shoe. Who says you couldn't mix fashion with comfort, lest, wearing flat boots, flat pumps and flat sandals are the in-things now.

0 comments Published by MIND BUBBLES in blogging school bubbles, other than bubblesThis is a sequel entry to the Zenni for Him entry. (sounds redundant? eh!)
Come to think of it, it is I who badly need new glasses from zennioptical.com. With all the late night reading because of my online class and blogging on the side, my vision has turned from bad to worse and I don't want it to be worst! I think I should be the one shopping for corrective glasses before it's too late. I like this pink one. What do you think?
ZENNI for him.
0 comments Published by MIND BUBBLES in bubblemen, other than bubblesAs I was fixing hubby's closet, I realized I never checked on his wallet nor snoop on his phone for such a long time now. Then, so I did. LOL! Only to find out that he has a restriction on his driving license. He should be wearing glasses when behind the wheels which I don't ever check on when he's driving. I think I should be getting him some nice glasses from zennioptical.com or might as well let him choose one. I don't want him to be caught by cops, anyways.
office rants
0 comments Published Monday, July 7, 2008 by MIND BUBBLES in office bubbles, other than bubblesThere are two things I am very thankful that I am relieved of when I quit my day job, office rants and office intrigues. You know there are just some people we don't want to see everyday but are inevitable to work with. All we have to do is maintain our professionalism and be civil as much as possible. Others would resort to telling them upfront, in their face and the other party may take it lightly, professionally or even violently (haha!). It is harder when you are faced with much much difficult to deal with- bosses and supervisors. I was very lucky and blessed that in my entire working years, I have never encountered one. I always end up with the most approachable, understanding and considerate bosses. They even gave me high appraisal performance reports which up to now I keep along with my other documents. They continue to inspire me and these documents might even help me when I decide to look for a fulltime job next year.
Now, I came across this site which I find the most hilarious ways to Tell Your Boss Off, it's http://www.tellyourbossoff.tv/. You should take a look at the site and find different employees ranting out their hearts content about their annoying, demanding and irritating superiors. You might even find your colleagues there (big grin). I mean for me, who ever thought about this is totally a genius. You can try it and make a video of your own. No need to show your face nor mention your name or your bosses' names. I understand that eventhough we are tired of our jobs, annoyed with our bosses and irritated by our colleagues, we NEED OUR JOBS and we can't afford to lose them especially in these trying global economic crisis.
