the Aftermath
Thank heavens as the Hurricane Irene did not hit us so bad as previously predicted. I wonder what happened with Jersey city though, as my friend told me they almost got flooded. I believe they were prepared and in fact got all of their documents packed in a plastic case including their title loans New Jersey. As for me, I spent all Sunday cleaning our small patio and balcony. I wish the weather will be better in the coming days as we are off for another trip next week. Yes, our last Summer hurrah!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to catching up with my laundry duties hee hee, tomorrow my plans include buying gifts for 2 boys and Sunday, I want to catch up on my Keeping up with Kardashians DVR recording!
Building Dreams in our Dreamboard
Hubby and I are so fascinated with beautiful homes. It has become our weekend routine to catch up on our favorite TV shows that feature homes and homes renovation. If money was not an issue, we would avail of all things beautiful in our small crib. To be honest, hubby has the making of a very good interior designer, he knows what to put in every nook in every type of the house. One of the sites we frequent is: TheWhiteCompany.com which has an extensive collection of uniquely-designed French Style Furniture, while European styles are not in our penchant list, I am amazed by the company's collection.
Anyway, ever since we moved in this new apartment situated in a beautiful community, we started to invest in furniture that we could bring in our future home. So whatever we decide to buy, we have to think it over a hundred of times, not only about the price but whether it would fit our future home theme. This is the main reason why my purse shopping has been put on hold for the next couple of years. I guess it helps that I posted a photo of our dream home in our dream board, it makes saving for our future home easier than we thought.
