think remodeling.

Summer and spring are opportune seasons to do some renovations or remodeling in your homes. Also, these are the seasons where Denver remodeling and San Francisco remodeling offer cheaper rates. These sites have high customer service and consistent excellent quality of work. They make sure to finish work as fast as they can and provide the kind of remodeling and renovation their clients want to achieve. For more information. You can check out their site. As for us, we need to redesign our living room and bedroom for the upcoming family visits in fall and hubby always gets his inspiration from these sites.

Home Security.

Our current townhome is only our 2nd choice. We were bound to get our 1st choice of apartment, however, some misunderstanding on certain documents prevented us to get it. Surprisingly, we have learned to love this 2 floor townhome over the 1 floor flat/apartment. Especially when we have visitors, the townhome do not get too crowded because of the 2 floor set-up.

A few weeks ago, hubby told me that it was indeed a blessing in disguise that we did not our 1st choice because some house break in and shooting incident happened there. At least, with where we are now, we do not even need to get any GE home security system and/or GE alarm system because we are assured of our community's security.

Speaking of GE home security, a relative recently got theirs at USAlarm.com. She said that it is a reliable monitoring security home device with such an affordable price. You see, most of the day she and her husband along with their kids are out so no one really makes sure that their house is free from break in. If you are interested, check out USALarm.com for more information. They are on of the authorized dealers of GE Security.

Go Digital.

In one of my minor subjects, I have a classmate who is pursuing a Master's Degree in Information Technology. He mentioned to me in one of our core-group discussions that he wants to focus his career path on the digital path. He even mentioned that he is more inclined at pursuing a career at Time Warner Digital, a company which offers Time Warner Digital Cable and Time Warner Digital Phone. He vouched by the quality of service this company offers. They currently have over 200 channels including top channels such as TLC, ESPN, Discovery Channel, Lifetime, GTV etc... Also, their high speed internet is up to 100X faster than dial-up and absolutely without contracts! Their digital phone plan includes unlimited local and free long distance but of course, you could save up in bundle plans. Apparently, my classmate only wants to gain experience, eventually he wants to put up a similar business on his own. I think with his perseverance and determination he’d be able to achieve that goal. In fact, from among our classmates, he is one of the few who excels and has been consistent in his standing as candidate for G.P.A. honors. Isn’t that great? So to you, J, GodSpeed on your dreams.

Say No!

Dez tagged me.

Do you know that in our university, we take plagiarism quizzes randomly and every so often. The quiz scores are part of our final grade. We even submit our research and writing assignments to Turnitin.com before we could even submit it to our Professors. But, this time we are talking about online plagiarism. I was once a victim of this when a pa1dpost was copied by another blogger. Good thing as the sponsor3d site was kind enough to notify me and I think they suspended the account of the other blogger. tsk tsk. Anyways, spread the word and just quote the words below :). I'm off to check this best appetite suppressant.

What is Plagiarism?
Plagiarism is the unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work.
To all Bloggers who exert effort to create noteworthy entries and who continue to maintain a Blog which is a reflection of who she / he is, " Good job! " To those who have the desire to Blog but are merely scraping contents from other people' s materials, " Whether you are monetizing your site to help you with your basic needs or to satisfy some of your wants, do it the proper way. Stop making money out of someone else's work. Otherwise, you are nothing but a common thief! "
Thank you!

the big C.

The Big C is my greatest fear. I do not want any of my loved ones to be inflicted by Cancer of any kind, not even Mesothelioma cancer. I have personally witnessed how this C took away the life and hope of my FIL, my bestfriend's mom and so on and so forth. But, it is quite inevitable this days. It seems that Cancer has inflicted even the most health buff and careful human being. A few days ago, a dear friend started out this blog for her friend who is suffering from a dreadful kind of cancer and he is only 29. All we can do is wrap ourselves with prayers that the academe, research institutions, Health agencies etc will find cure soon.

bags galore!

It seems that handbags these days have become truly investments for women. In fact, my girlfriends would rather invest on designer handbags or Italian leather handbags. Although, if you ask my opinion, I would still invest more on jewelries rather than handbags but I don't mind receiving designer handbags as gifts or investing in a few designer handbags. Probably, I am not a true baghag.

Speaking of bags, I just cannot help but fall in love with the pink ostrich bag in the photo. It looks very elegant and affordable. Mimu.co.uk offers other colors of ostrich bags at a very reliable and practical rates. They also have scarves and belts in their collection. You better check out their site for more authentic Italian and ostrich leather hand bags. If only I am not on a tight budget now, would probably get one for myself. That pink ostrich hand bag, specifically.

Snagged!

Thanks Yen & Peach :).

1. Do you find you don’t have as much time on your hands as you used to?
+ yes. With so many things I have to juggle in a day's worth and so many things I want to accomplish too, days come by so fast.

2. Are you a “Clock Watcher”?
+ Yes.

3. Do you think that Time Travel is actually possible?
+ Think Meet the Robinsons, I would love that hahah!

+ Depends on how busy my days can be. There are days, most especially when I have to go to the university or meet my client for the research gig, I am just too tired to open my laptop and log in. I'd probably check emails and chat with my family/friends for 30 minutes to an hour. But on relax days and when blogging tasks are piled up, I can spend whole day on it.

6. Do you think that as you get older the days, weeks, months etc go by quicker?
+ super.

personalized baby gifts

My soon-to-be cousin-in-law has asked me to give her a trial make-up for their prenuptial shoot. I will be doing her bridal make-up in their August wedding. We need to do that and so I could also make sure that she'd be at her best on her wedding day. During our conversation, she also brought up that although both of them wants to have a baby soon they need to take care of some important matters before planning a baby. In fact, she was really excited and told me that she wants me to host her bridal shower when that happens. Of course, I will oblige and would even check out for personalized baby gifts for her at babynest.com.

business add-ons

I am amazed by people who are still very confident at investing a new business at this trying time. I remember watching a business talk show where it featured the opportunities we could grab during the economic crisis and how to make the most of what we are experiencing now. They said that at this time, purchasing a house is a good decision because of the low interests the banks would offer plus the fact that home loan rates and home rates itself are lower. Also, investing in business can be very risky at this point but if you have the right disposition, the right location and a buffed investment fund, you should take advantage of this time. Also banks currrently offer very low business loans. In this way, we are also helping out the government in stimulating the current economic state.

If you are indeed planning to open up a business or you already have one, adding a credit card processing payment scheme in your shop or retail store could boost up the income revenue of your business. You see, some clients would only pay in credit cards as they are not that comfortable carrying cash all the time. Also, research says that merchants who accept credit cards are more often visited that those who do not have this option in their stores. For more information on how to get your business started with credit card processing installation, check out merchantacceptance.com. They offer superior credit card processing services and more.

serenity...

Since my folks plan to visit in Fall is becoming to be very feasible plus our most-awaited family reunion is bound to happen in November, hubby and I are thinking of doing some minor improvements in our townhome. So I check my 2 most favorite sites and I saw these photos from Decolorogy.com and Desiretoinspire.com. Sigh! What beauties aren't they?

Q & A on insurance

A friend has been offered a Director position for a life insurance company. He was so thrilled when he called hubby and I. Then a few minutes after his call, he sent us an email telling us that he'd be visiting our place in a few days. And yes he did. One of his goals was for hubby to give him a sort of mock interview just to make him be well-prepared with the interview. Hubby's background is with Sales and Marketing so he is a bit versed with the ins and outs of hiring someone purely for sales department. So they went on and went on with their mini mock interview. I swear I head the work SECURITY a tons of times until they lasted and we sat down together and talked about the importance of Life Insurance even in this trying times. You see, many people have chosen to neglect the payments of the insurance in lieu of home and other basic and more urgent household needs and bills. But yes, Life Insurance is still extremely important and we should not neglect this. It is a form of security we will leave our families in case of accidents and other everyday mishaps. There are Life Insurance agencies and companies that would help adjust your monthly or quarterly terms with your income and with this trying times. You can check out usalifeinsurance.com for tips and on saving on the best Life Insurance packages. Also, you can instantly get an online quote for the best Life Insurance packagae that would suit your lifestyle. The site is quite user-friendly and easy to navigate. Check out their site for more information. Who knows the Life Insurance you have been neglecting will turn into a top priority because of a new package or plan restructure.

Sunday Inspiration

How are you this Sunday?
Hubby and I watched the Pacman-Hitman boxing match last night and even though I need to catch up with more sleep, I have a long line of blogging tasks to complete plus our son woke up a tad early! Anyways, before I check on this rv a friend sent me, let me share this very meaningful and powerful quote from Paulo Coehlo. So so true peeps :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. It’s one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it’s another to think that yours is the only path.

me likey!

I was checking out this steel buildings supplies site when I accidentally saw this.
Our favorite store, Mango is selling t-shirts from my beloved Paulo Coehlo :). I want this particular shirt. Isn't this such an inspiring fashion style?
