Back in college, I made a promise to myself to be employed by a prestigious and multinational corporation. I have always been amazed by the corporate world. The suits, the building, the power dresser officers, dashing cars and leather portfolios. Yes you read that right. Isn't they look oh so amazingly polished with their leather suitcases and purses. But then again, I only I got to be employed by a corporation for a tad 6 months. It was fun but very competitive. I have to learn every single thing about Shelf Corporations, Corporate Credit and even Aged Corporations. Coming from a Bachelor's Degree with no business courses/subjects, it was a huge adjustment for me. I had to to make effort by reading every night and be oriented with the business stature of the country. Currently, I am no longer dreaming about the corporate world but I am more lured at pursuing a career in the development field, hence I am completing my master's degree in public administration.

is Spring over?

A relative has been asking the same question over the past week: "Is Spring Over"?!? Apparently, in his side of America, looks like Spring has skipped and move forward to Summer because it is just scorching hot in their area, think 90s every single day! He was even planning to bring his kids to this Kid friendly hotel for summer but he said the summer heat is pretty scary these days. I told him to buckle up with loads and loads of sunblock protection and his kids' skin will be alright. We should take advantage of the warm weather because it will pass so quickly and winter will be here again.

I saw this over at Kathy's who celebrated her birthday yesterday, well today here :) and I could not help but blurt out my LOL! How often do you say that or type that for that matter? Although, I assure you I haven't said that in real because that would be weird, right?

I was trying to fix our wireless router a few hours ago when I told hubby about this article I saw at babycenter.com. I let him read it and he said that I won't divorce him because I smile a lot (and I mean, a lot!) in photos lol!. Read on.

People who smile in photos less likely to divorce, study says

Fri, Apr 17, 2009 (HealthDay) -- Looking at your loved one's old photos may help you determine your risk of ending up divorced, suggest researchers who that found people who smile in pictures are more likely to stay married.

Matthew Hertenstein, a psychologist at DePauw University in Indiana, and colleagues evaluated the smiles in the school yearbook photos of 225 women and 124 men, ages 21 to 81, who were asked to provide details about their personal life, United Press International reported.

The researchers also examined youthful photos of people age 65 and older, who were asked if they'd ever been in a committed relationship or divorced.

The results showed that 11 percent of those with the biggest smiles in their photos were divorced, compared with 31 percent of people who frowned in photographs, UPI reported.

The study, published in the journal Motivation and Emotion, demonstrates that extremely small behavior clues can reveal how people will fare in marriage, Hertenstein said.

I was going through our book shelves this morning to check which books I could use for this school quarter. I realized how much business books my husband has accumulated in his 2 years of stay here. Then he also has another set of stock options books which includes terminologies such as iron condor. As for me, I know nothing about this stuff and would end up checking poweropt.com website for some stocks options and trading information when I need to know something. But I guess, I need to familiarize myself with these information as next quarter I would be taking another finance and economics class. How about you, do you know a lot about stocks and stocks trading?

a hug or a kiss??

My son is not a picky eater. He would eat anything that I served in our dining table. He can also be pretty experimental and daring when trying out food. However, he eats on a relatively small volume and would even tell you that he's full. When he was a year old, I gave him some dietary supplements but with his gaining appetite now, he would not need any of those. According to his pedia, his height and weight are just perfect for his age. I may be a paranoid mom. Anyways, if you want any dietary supplements for your kids, you might want to try out duocal which could be found at Allegro Medical.

I once told my friend that I love being a woman. I would not trade this for the world. Being a woman is so full of life especially if you are like me who loves dressing up and dolling up oneself from head to toe. I would have a separate vanity closet for my cosmetics and another compartment for my accessories and jewelries. Sometimes, hubby would be amazed by how I could not get enough of these stuff hee hee.
