We are all set for the 4th of July trip, well almost. I just got off the phone with the friend whom we are going to meet in DC and we partially planned our Itinerary for the July 4. Parade and Fireworks top our list and some picnic. Hubby was hoping to see some cherry blossoms but obviously, there are no more cherry blossoms. Hmmm, I guess with or without it, the trip would be great :).

Those are gorgeous! Timing is everything. I visited a gurdwara this spring which is built in the middle of peach orchards while all the trees were in bloom. A few weeks later and went back and they were all gone. I need to try to get up there again when the peaches are ripe. Mmmm cobbler.

Beautiful! Someday I hope to visit Washington DC during the Cherry Blossom Festival. We will be spending our Fourth in NH at our camp on a small lake. Hopefully the sun will shine!

oh at first, i thought it was just an ordinary tree but when i took a second look i said wowww..flowers..We don't have a tree like that here. So beautiful. What's the name of the tree? Happy WW.
