If you were at a friend’s house for a holiday dinner and you found a dead cockroach in your salad, what would you do?
>>>I would likely take it out, the cockroach I mean. Tell my friend about it but in a discreet manner :)
If you could put anyone you know on Prozac, who would you choose?
>>>SECRET LOL! It's Christmas and aren't we supposed to be in this kind of mode lol!
How do you feel about public displays of affection?
>>>I do not really mind especially if the couple is a beautiful pair LOL! No I don't really mind but I think each couple should be a little aware that there are kids who can see them.
on gardening
0 comments Published by ♥em♥ in other than bubblesI want a garden.badly. That is an understatement. Living in a cozy townhome with limited loan makes you want to have a garden or even a zen type of garden inside your home or in the patio. I used to not really love gardens this much but maybe hubby's inclination drawn me to appreciate what gardens can do to our daily living. One of the reasons why I am not into gardening before because I do not have a green thumb. I tried taking care of my mom's orchid collection back home but instead I left them dry and soggy all at the same time. Until I had to accept the fact, that maybe gardening is not for me.
For the past weeks, hubby is telling me that we should get some pots of colorful flowers when spring sets in. Pots of flowers that would not require us to use Stonebank Ironcraft as we are only planning to set up a mini-garden in the patio which is our view from the dining table. Apparently, hubby has been lurking on the site of Stonebank which has been making high quality garden and Estate Ironwork for over 30 years. Although the site offers services on bigger gardens, he was able to get some nice gardening ideas. So I guess we are set to have some flowers in early Spring :).
Weekend Snapshot #30
5 comments Published Sunday, December 21, 2008 by ♥em♥ in weekend snapshotsIt's funny that my other WS entry is Christmas Tree-Santa Inspired and this one is more focused on the true reason why we celebrate CHRISTmas.
Amidst the commercialism of CHRISTmas, we should always equate presents with giving and sharing of blessings.
Here's wishing you a fruitful and meaningful CHRISTmas. Love and be loved. Forgive and forget. Move on, be kind and everything else follows.

REMEMBER: Jesus is Better than Santa
Santa lives at the North Pole,
JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh, JESUS rides on the wind and
walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year,,JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies, JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited,JESUS stands at your door and
knocks.. and then enters your heart.
You have to stand in line to see Santa,
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap,
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can
say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?". JESUS knew our name before we
did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our
history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads. Santa
has a belly like a bowl full of jelly, JESUS has a heart full of love.
All Santa can offer is HO HO HO! JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says "You better not cry", JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.
Santa's little helpers make toys, JESUS makes new life, mends wounded
hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.
Santa may make you chuckle but, JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree, JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.
It's obvious there is really no comparison.
We need to remember WHO Christmas is all
about. We need to put Christ back in Christmas.
Jesus is still the reason for the season.

So, if you have been wanting to try out those small business opportunities you have always had at the back of your minds, do not be scared and think it over. Anyhow, I have been telling hubby to get a Wii instead of a PS3 because I think a PS3 and xbox360 are just of the same features, what do you think am I right? I hope he gets a Wii instead as I badly need a Wii Fit!!!

lucrative job

Especially if you are going to practice this profession in the United States, I bet your salary is very rewarding not to mention the generous tips you get from satisfied clients. But in order to practice this profession here, one has to be licensed. Also, in order to be very competitive in this industry it is important to further your beauty knowledge through a Beauty School. 0 comments Published by ♥em♥ in other than bubblesIn these hard times, people are trying to hold on to their cash rather than spending. No wonder, sales are everywhere and they just won't stop tempting our little pockets and thin wallets these days. A friend who is so much into investments has been telling me about Monex Precious Metals. She has been very happy with the money she made out of investing on precious metals, silver and gold coins. Just click on the link and you'd be able to watch a video that would talk on this. While I have not really explored this matter, I believe what my mom told me that it is always a good and wise decision to invest on gold as they never depreciate.

- Complete half of my Master's Degree. I am getting there, almost :). This means a lot to me because it required a lot of patience, hardwork and time management skills because I have a family to tend too.
- Earn quite a decent sum amout of money just simply by staying at home. Yes, you got it right, through blogging. I did not realize I could make this much. Not really huge, but enough to be able to buy my wants without taking from our budget chunk.
- Being able to manage a household all by myself (oh will hubby's help too) abroad. This is really important and very liberating on my part.

Marriage Takes Time
0 comments Published Wednesday, December 17, 2008 by ♥em♥ in happy bubbly peopleSince hubby and I will be celebrating our 5th year together as husband and wife in a few more days from now, I thought of sharing this email that was forwarded to me by a dear friend. You will truly learn from it. I did.
And yes marriage takes time, it is but hardwork and could be tested by time :).
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.–Psalm 46:10
Some days I think men, especially, inherit a double dose of impatience. That could explain why so many of us despise shopping and mutter when the driver in front of us balks at turning right on red. More than once, my wife, Debi, has said, "Sometimes I just don't understand you at all!" Well, I haven't completely figured her out, either. After more than 20 years of marriage, we need to learn so much more about living and loving as husband and wife. And it takes time.
But why is that so exasperating? My guess is it's part of human nature. A congenital hurry-bone of contention inherited from Adam and Eve, who started the whole business by eating an apple guaranteed to give them instant knowledge.
When we live by the false "faster is better" creed, we lose sight of the contrasting truth: Relationships take lots of time to develop and nurture. They demand long hours and years and even decades of work. But when you stop to consider the alternative, it's clear that marriage is worth the time. Why hurry to divorce court when you can take your time and nurture a deep commitment for the rest of your life?
–Gregg Lewis in The Couples' Devotional Bible (Zondervan)

for a special blogger (you know who you are hee :))
3 comments Published by ♥em♥ in blogging bubbles, bubble rest, bubble sudsI have always love reading her entries because she has always been real. Heck the blogs who post nothing but fantasies and pretentions, I am no judge here but I love blogs who post not only raves but rants as well, not only purchases but things they want to afford, not only plans but failures. But, if only blogging were limited to readers who do not judge, who thinks they have a right to criticize you because they think they know you, readers who read blogs as it is--taking everything as it is without further analysis, readers who are not there to correct your grammar nor act as editors (goodness!) then blogging is 100% fun thing to do. But, no blogging is not like that. So while we are enjoying this blogosphere, let's all be conscious of these other type of readers and to these readers, this is a blog, not a book, not a news article, not a writing contest...
I love bloggers who write not to please and bloggers who edit less (*wink!).

garden roses
0 comments Published by ♥em♥ in other than bubblesLiving in a rented town home restricts you from decorating and enhancing your home. Moreso, having garden roses in your patio or backyard. However, there are alternatives to this kind of set-up. Right now, we have a pine tree as our Christmas tree. Also, in our kitchen, we have bonsai bamboos which hubby bought 2 months ago. And another thing is you could order flower arrangements from FiftyFlowers.com and accent your dining table. I grew up in a household where there is a lot of greens and flowers both inside and outside of our house, no wonder I am accustomed to seeing plants inside our townhome as well.

0 comments Published Thursday, December 11, 2008 by ♥em♥ in other than bubblesI know of someone who had a very bad experience with a Credit Card collection agency that almost made her traumatized with the event. After a while she filed for a formal complaint and found out that the collection agency was not a partner of the credit card company, they were 3rd party company and was hired only to do the collection for the credit card company. It takes a lot of professional and communication skills to be able to demand a payment from the client. I do not believe in a brutal way of collection debts. I mean these are people with serious money problems, they would not be financially delinquent if they have enough the money to sustain their livelihood. Anyhow, if you need if you or your company needs to hire a 3rd party Collection Agency, you might want to check out American Profit Recovery. The company was founded in 2004 by five collection industry veterans. With a deep desire to be different, they set out to create a company that could not only help businesses of all sizes become more profitable, but change the fundamental way in which a collection agency operated. I think companies should be a little careful when hiring a collection agency as even though they would be needing something from clients, they should also bear in mind that these are humans with feelings and needs.

0 comments Published by ♥em♥ in other than bubblesOne of the perks of being in a sales or marketing industry is their Car Allowance or car reimbursement. I clearly remember how much we were able to save from gas and car maintenance expenses when he used to hold a sales/marketing position. So imagine our huge adjustment when we began to pay for these and have to allot a certain budget for these alone. We were also able to buy 2 sedan (his corporate cars) for a very minimal price. They were all brand-new. However, from where we are, it is not really hard to own your own car as they come out affordable and with payment options. However, when the gas prices were really high, we had to lessen our trips to the mall as we wanted to save from gas expenses. Speaking of car allowances, you might want to check on CRS. CRS or Corporate Reimbursement Services, Inc. (CRS) is a management consulting firm that administers highly flexible and customizable vehicle reimbursement programs for companies with mobile employees. Check out the site for more information.I think this would be one of my considerations when I look for a job next year. That is if I pass my driving test HEE.
A PROMISE.
0 comments Published by ♥em♥ inI was telling my friend, C this afternoon that if I combined all my shopping expenses from November to today, I could have gotten myself a worthy purchase. I swear, I was such an impulsive shopper for the past 2 months. I just thought that since Christmas is nearing and I have been really hardworking the whole year, why not treat myself with everything I wanted (well at least half of the list I wanted), but now I feel a little guilty.
Oh well, I promise to be on shopping ban for the 1st quarter of 2009. Hubby and I are saving up for something big. Well, goodluck to me :).
be careful
0 comments Published Tuesday, December 9, 2008 by ♥em♥ in other than bubblesThey say that during the holiday season, crime rates are higher than any other season. Isn't that ironic as we are supposed to be doing all things nice? But I guess, the reason behind this is that more people needed money. Anyhow, I found this website where you could do a Prison Inmate Search just in case you are in need of one. Let us all be careful this holiday and may you have a blessend and peaceful holidays!

Congratulations Manny Paquiao!
0 comments Published Sunday, December 7, 2008 by ♥em♥ in bubblemen, happy bubbly peopleI am not a huge boxing fan nor a fan of Manny Pacquiao but since he always manages to make the Country proud, he deserves this spot in my blog. And yes, I managed to watch the fight with hubby last night while I was finishing off some school paper. Boy, was he a ferocious man! De la Hoya should never bother to ask for this dream match.
The Manny Fever.
0 comments Published by ♥em♥ inI am glad that hubby is not caught up with the huge Manny Pacquiao fever. I mean he brings pride to our country but I do not understand too much adoration for this man. Maybe because I am not sporty or maybe because hubby is too busy to be putting his energy on this fight. Nevertheless, I wish the man a big luck and I hope that the young generation does not only dream of becoming a boxer but a good educated man as well :).
Just my 2 cents.
personalized baby gifts
0 comments Published by ♥em♥ in other than bubblesOn top of the many things in my mind right now, I need to get personalized baby gifts for my godchildren at least before the week ends. I have been neglecting them for quite some special occasions now and this Christmas I want to make up with them by giving them something personalized. Most of my Godchildren at less than 2 years old so the personalized baby gifts I saw at babynest.com are just perfect for their needs. I think I do not need to look further more as this will be the easiest way I could get them their gifts. Order online and have them delivered to their respective homes. Online shopping truly rocks!

personal injury rights
0 comments Published Saturday, December 6, 2008 by ♥em♥ in other than bubblesI did not realize until a few months ago that small personal injuries can be represented by a San Antonio personal injury lawyer or similar types of lawyers. If you had a personal injury, you may present claims for very substantial damages that are necessary to cover the expenses involved with adjusting to life after the accident. These San Antonio personal injury lawyers accept all personal injury cases on a contingent fee basis. They collect no attorney’s fee until they settle your case or win at trial. wedding is a joyous occassion.
0 comments Published by ♥em♥ in other than bubblesWedding is an occasion that always make me very emotional especially if the couple to be wed is very close to my heart. More often than not, I always get teary-eyed during the bridal walk and the exchange of vows. Even if the weddings are only renewal of vows such as silver or gold weddings, they always make me very emotional. So as a guest, I make sure to always prepare as I know the couple have exerted their efforts during their Wedding Planning stage. I have never been into a wedding where I did not enjoy the occasion even if the couple are not that close to me.

high performance software
0 comments Published by ♥em♥ in other than bubblesIt is amazing how companies rely on technology in storing important database. However, there is also a great downfall to this. Data protection and date loss are just some of the issues they face in keeping their datebase and important information safe. If you or your company need data protection solutions software, visit syncsort.com. Syncsort Incorporated develops, markets, and services high-performance software for data management and data protection. 36 Christian Ways to Reduce Stress (part2)
0 comments Published by ♥em♥ in happy bubbly people... and here's part 2!
I am such a worry-wart, aren't all mothers? But what #11 suggest, I should start separating my worries from my concerns. I should be learning to let go and let God some things in my life. Wasting my day with too much worries means wasting a lot of time. I hope to be able to practice this in the days to come.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extr! a house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.
16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
36 Christian Ways to Reduce Stress (part1)
0 comments Published by ♥em♥ in happy bubbly peopleDon't we all love to lead a healthy Christian life? I read once that for as long as you are focused on serving God above all things, you are in the right track. Here's sharing part one of the 36 Christian ways to Reduce Stress as sent to me by my friend, C. I fail on the Get Up on Time so you can start the day unrushed part! I really need therapy when it comes to waking up early argh!
1. Pray
2. ! Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.

Whee it's the 1st day of December, the Month of Sharing and the Month of my favorite Holiday, CHRISTMAS!
So are you done with your Shopping List or have you just started.
Last night, I was so eager to make my December and 2009 organized that I spent 4 hours writing in my planner, making budget and writing some important notes in my gazillions of notebooks hee. I will share to you the rest of what I planned to do for the next year, let me share with you about one important thing I am so determined to do. LOSE WEIGHT before the holiday feasting!
I realized that since Thanksgiving is over, I have no reason to feast and pig-out until Christmas day and New Year's eve. I might as well shed of at least 5 lbs before those feast days.
Also, hubby and I are planning to donate a bit of our year's earning to Cancer victims such as those hit by the mesothelioma disease. I wish we have extra funds so we'd be able to give more.
What are your December plans?
a lucrative job
0 comments Published by ♥em♥ in other than bubblesNurses are so in demand all over the world. But mostly nurses are eyeing for Travel Nursing Jobs or jobs that would base them in the Northern American Region as countries here pay nurses more than any other parts in the world. In fact, back in my home country, parents would prefer their kids to take up nursing-related courses. While these kids would rather take some other courses of their interest, they would choose nursing courses because of the promised high-paying job right after graduation. But, Nurses should not only focus on the salary aspect. A friend/nurse told me that it takes a lot of patience, hard work, commitment and passion to be a nurse. One has to be passionate of this career in order to be able to carry on the responsibilities well. This friend is looking into the possibilities of furthering her nursing career by taking another nursing course. One that would entail her to be a travel nurse or a nurse that would solely be assigned in the O.R. She said she is always excited every time she gets OR assignments. I wish she really pursues her plan as I know she will do good on every endeavor she takes. In fact, she has already been searching for travel nursing jobs, travel therapy jobs, per diem nursing jobs, and permanent jobs to healthcare professionals in prestigious hospitals nationwide as early as now at FiftyStates. For those of you who are in this field, check out the site. You will find a comprehensive listings of nursing jobs.
