bad vices.

It is sad that sometimes people tend to succumb on addiction to cover up their problems. These people are weak enough to face trials and wallow on alcohol, drugs and other forms of bad vices and addiction. I used to really REALLY despise these people until I met someone dear to me who recently got admitted (initially) for alcohol rehab after awhile the doctors found out that he had other forms of addiction. Of course, I had to hear him out and find out what happened to him. Knowing him, he is the type of person who is always in control of his life. Until I understand why he had to succumb to alcohol for comfort. But you know what, there is always a second chance, we could help these people by talking to their family members that there is no other way but to admit them to a reliable drug treatment center for healing. It's never to late to help a person who has turned vices into bad addiction habit.

Many of my family members ask me, why do I blog? I couldn't quite give them an exact answer. This all started out as a form of my log for my son's milestones then eventually I wanted to inspire people with my blog or that they could find something relevant as they read my blog. When I heard about Apogee and that they could enhance Website Effectiveness, I read more. I honestly want to avail of their services if I had an online shop or business online but since all of my blogs were more personal I do not need it now, just yet :).

missing my poodle

That photo is the picture of my toy poodle, Princess D :). Gawd knows how much I miss her! I wish it was easy to bring in a pet here and so my son and I would have company every single day while we wait for hubby. You see, I love little dogs, lap dogs most especially. They are very much easy to manage to as compared to big dogs. I should know as hubby once had a labrador and everyday I would freak out to our househelp to always make sure to clean up their poo because it stinks so bad! But, hubby likes them a lot. That labrador is now in the care of my uncle.

Also, poodle happens to be the most intelligent dogs in the world. A lot of books have noted that. However, there are a few concerns about this type of breed. They have nasty breath and their eyes usually are very liquidy and tears would stain on their coat. Those are the two things that I pay extra care of when Princess D was on my care as she used to sleep beside me back home. Thank heavens for breath freshener for pets and this Angel Eyes Pet Tear Stain Eliminator. They were so effective that the next day we applied them to Princess D as well as the shih-tzu and poodle of my brother, the stains were gone. You might want to try it.

>>>To be honest, that is something we are planning to do. Probably, a Disney world tour with our sons as the farthest we've been was go to downtown to get some bar faucets, funny isn't it?

>>>Not at all. We have different tastes.

>>>Yea, and I told her upfront. We're that honest with each other.

The last picture was taken today. Sunday.

You may call as over-reacting-overacting, but we are really affected by this.

One of the reasons why we took this townhome is because we had a backyard filled with greens. Overlooking the community pool just a few steps from our dining area where outside is our patio.

This week, they started putting this orange barricade. And hauling trucks came in, waking us up with their loud hauling sounds.

My son watches them everyday as they cut all the trees. He was so concerned that those trees bled as the big trucks were cutting them. Why mommy, why?
And when we woke up today with this as our new backyard sight :(. Where are all the trees mom?Is it true that America is having apartments and townhomes shortage because of the increasing number of people who can't pay their home mortgages?

I Want a Better Marriage. We often hear these from older couples. They say, the more you stay longer, they more the marriage becomes less exciting. I beg to disagree on this statement, you may call me idealistic, but I guess, marriage is hardwork and happiness is a state of mind :).

Pet Lovers said, Happiness is Pets, I believe that. When I was on a long-distance relationship, my then boyfriend who is now my husband and I decided to get a pet to be under my care. I swear it uplifted my spirits and I am no longer as sad with the distance I am suffering. Until now, we have that toy poodle who is now in the care of my mom.

Every time there is an opening of a certain establishment, me and my in-laws would be in the 1st line of people waiting for the door to open. What we like about shopping on opening days is the fact that usually there are a lot of freebies and promotional items, not to mention huge huge introductory discounts. Despite the fact that some promotional items are not useable or practical, these are still freebies that we love to have. Don't you?

come 17th

...we now have an official school boy.
Yes, we have enrolled the little boy in a play gym. But he would have to attend an hour of indepenent structured class. That would mean some quality time for me and hubby. I am so delighted with his school because they have branches anywhere in US and Canada. The memnership fee was worth it, not to mention the promotional products that was part of our welcome loot!

To Dos:

I am glad that I am starting to get organized. Everything is a-okay and my backlogs have tremendously been back to zero yey! But here are a few things I need to accomplish homefront:

1. Research on Outer Banks rentals for an Aunt.
2. Segregate old clothes and shoes that need to be sent to the trift store for donation.
3. Organize our filing cabinets.
4. Choose photos for printing.
5. Back-up photos and other files.

Whew, this is still one heck of a list. I hope I would be able to accomplish them before tasks start to pour in again.

Asus Scented Laptop.

While I was researching on Chicago personal injury lawyers, I was so amazed with these Asus scented laptop as reported by CNET.com/CRAVE! I love the designs but would I want a laptop that smells like perfume? I guess not. But this is quite interesting. I want to see an actual version of these and probably have a smell. I hope they don’t smell like the perfumed stationaries hee.

Something to note about Eee PC maker Asus' new line of fragrant laptops: the lifespan of their scent depends on how much you use the computer. If you make an F6 your primary machine, therefore, chances are great it will gradually lose its invigorating ocean-at-dawn aroma and end up smelling like an old IBM ThinkPad.

I admit I am O.C. but when it comes to computer cables, HDMI switches and other gadgets cables, I suck in terms of organizing them and putting them back to their designated cabinet at home. Just this morning, hubby was so pissed that he saw everything on the floor. I tell you, he almost tripped! Do you know of any organizer for cables specifically? I badly need one asap.

Hubby is the type of man who would instantly get a house of his own. It is I who have been controlling his urge and sign the land title. You see, we have plans of moving states and who knows, maybe country. But no matter how much I tell him that this year is not the right time to request for mortgage quotes, he still is looking around for good investment.

When I have a daughter, I guess I would be the strict mom who wouldn't allow her to go out on dates until she's 18. Yay! Yes, I think I will be like that. You see, I have met different kind of suitors in my life and they always make sure to put their feet one step forward just to persuade the girl even metaphormical statements like he will buy the moon for her. Yikes, I hope they will not fool my future daughter when that time comes. I also wish she'd be wiser in the picking up the best man for him.

I was surprised to hear my son saying to me these words yesterday: "Mom, c'mon please drive na, so we could always go malling and wherever." Wow! That's some motivation in there, I really need to take that driving test soon and practice more on my very very weak driving skills. I know I have been procrastinating on this for quite some time now. I have been telling hubby that I will only take the big leap and be behind the wheels again when I find a day job next year but he thinks otherwise. In fact, he already wants me to get online auto insurance quotes for my car. uh-oh!

For 2 days now, I did not notice that our phone downstairs was unplugged. I seldom use that phone. When making calls I use the ones in the master's bedroom. No wonder we always end up getting missed calls everyday. The reason was my son accidentally turned off the ringer in the upstairs phone. So when our friend K kept calling us because he needed to ask hubby about midwest auto recycling, all he ever gets were answering messages. Anyways, we finally talked to him and he was delighted to have his engines fixed soon.

Jennifer's wedding day was fast approaching. Nothing could dampen her excitement -- not even her parent's nasty divorce. Her mother had found the PERFECT dress to wear and would be the best dressed mother-of-the- bride ever! A week later, Jennifer was horrified to learn that her father's new young wife had bought the exact same dress! Jennifer asked her to exchange it, but she refused. A few days later, they went shopping and did find another gorgeous dress. When they stopped for lunch, Jennifer asked her mother, 'Aren't you going to return the other dress?. One thing I look forward to every time the New Year is coming are new paper bills and coins. Back in my home country, the government usually print new paper bills and produce coins a few months before the New Year. Old paper bills and coins are being replenished with these new ones. dreaming of Miami

One of the states that I truly and badly want to visit is Florida! Not only because I want my toddler to visit Disney World, I also want to experience Miami Summer! I chanced upon Apogee Condo Miami Beach from this website: apogeecondosobe.com. It is said to be a luxury property that wood make any Apogeeis residents live the jet set kind of lifestyle they deserve. It is just fifteen-minute drive to Miami International Airport and 30 minutes from Miami Executive Airport at Opa Locka Airport. Well, I don't really mind if I just stay in a backpacker hotel as long as I'd be able to experience Miami Summer, it will be all fine by me.

>>>Even if I have the time and money to, I try to avoid eating out except for special occassions. It ruins my diet and dishes served on restos are filled with seasonings that are not so healthy.

>>>Tea would do.

>>>Huh!?!

If I had all the money and time in the world, I would be travelling every month out of the country, no kidding but I really would. This is interesting. I remember before we flew in here, hubby told me to ask my mom a few of her spare rare coin because it will be my arrival presents for his boss' 11 year-old son. I was like, a boy at that very young age is into this type of collection? So, I proceeded and get about 5 rare coins from my mom. When I met the young man, oh my, he was really passionate about rare coins. He even toldme about Monaco Rare Coins which is a family of the leading coins supplier: Monex Company. He said that when he gets old and needed the money he could always trade those rare coins and they will cost him a fortune. I can't help but agree.

Kids these days really are very much different from our generation.

I can get very O.C. on little stuff but I don't neglect big, major, important stuff at home such as medical supplies at home. Since, I don't really drive and hubby works 20 minutes away from our home, I should never ever neglect on checking the medicine cabinet. I always make sure everything is on stock that when emergency comes, we have the right supplies in that very important cabinet. Generally, we buy or medical needs on the nearest drugstore but I am thinking of trying out AllegroMedical.com? They have everything from Exercise & Fitness Equipment, Nutritional Dietary Supplements, Maternity/Baby Supplies and ever Outdoor Gear. I could spend hours and hours on their site just surfing some practical finds but I am more on the verge of purchasing Baby Products and other medical supplies. Has anyone of you tried this site?
