tools of the house vs tricks of the trade (HEE!)

I have zero knowledge when it comes to using tools such as air tools or any type of household tools. I never had the effort to even learn how to use them. I am simply dependent to hubby or any male member of our household and that is bound to happen forever. Ask me about tricks of the trade (read: make-up) and I'd give you tons of ways and techniques. Although, I admire women who knows how to use household tools!
